Who am I

I am a clay artist based in Hong Kong. Born to a Swiss family in Spain, I grew up to believe that mixing up is the only way to move forward. and this is reflected in everything I do.

I love to work with clay. Ceramic clay, polymer clay, silver clay. Clay is the material that best adapts to my favourite tools, my hands. Every press, every roll, every turn is perfectly reflected in this medium.

Ceramics

Working on ceramic clay allows me to fully enjoy the malleability of the clay medium. Shaping with my hands, feeling the clay adapt to my fingers, create a form out of a rough mass.

draw inspiration from the smallest and largest things in life. The ups and downs. The scales of koi fish, the delicate filigree of an old teapot, the colours I see every morning through my window, the cultural clashes of my Swiss and Spansih heritage and my life in Hong Kong.

Polymer clay

Polymer clay is versatile and allows for an imaginative level of detail. I create my own colours from a cmyk basis and elaborate the patterns for each piece. Nothing is painted. Everything is done combining clays in different colours.

It also allows me to explore the relationship between colours and feelings, creating the space to bring the palettes I dream of to life.

Silver Clay

Exploring the world of fine jewellery through my love of clay brought me to Silver clat. The fine precious silver particles are mixed in a clay like mass and after firing it becomes 999 silver.
